The eyes of god are the coldest stare
the eyes of his follows are the judgmental stares
The eyes of the disbelievers are the cynical stares
the eyes of the young are the innocent stares
Being that of the watcher cause one to become cold
years of watching has caused them to forget what they are
what they were made for
what they can do
Being that of a follower creates callous
the burden of knowing becomes too much
the weight of a cross bears upon their soul
those of whom don't believe become the enemy, the ones that won't bear the weight
Disbelieving causes one to shun the ones whom don't follow their path
the years of arguing their beliefs, those of outspoken thoughts
the time of bearing the explanation of thoughts
causing them to see the believers as foolish
The young are the purist of all
not yet touched by worldly views
undecided on their chosen views
forced to be told whom to choose
told what to believe
causing them to become one or the other
at an age where they cannot be any
for the young are the purist of all
